Take advantage of more analysis options with additions to our EN-13445 calculations. EN-13445 is one of the most used pressure vessel design codes and meets the demands of those who reside in Europe and must adhere to the PED. As these calculations are now ‘in-line’, they don’t have to be performed outside of PV Elite via other methods. Normally these calculations would be done manually, but now you can save effort and time in your vessel design by not using other design tools.

Benefit from automatic design options that allow users to efficiently modify vessel design to save time. Another major effort in this release is the inclusion of longitudinal weld seams, enabling the placement of nozzles to avoid interference with those weld seams. PV Elite 23 users can visualize and automatically populate weld seams. Fabricators can view the default information for seams and easily detect the relationship between items such as how close nozzles or clips are to weld seams instead of having to calculate manually. PV Elite 23 follows code rules for nozzles approaching various weld seams, warning you when they are too close.
